EMEA Risk Analyst- Cork

Major Duties
•Support EMEA Credit & Collections Mgr in the completion of annual CL review exercise for all active customers.
•Ensure Credit Control Corporate policies are understood & enforced
•Ensure Credit Insurance policy is understood & complied
•Act as primary point of contact for Credit Insurer & EMEA business in relation to: Credit Limit applications & provision of required information or reports. Attend bi-weekly confcall with Credit Insurer.
•Carry out customer creditworthiness assessment & submit CL recommendations to
•EMEA Credit & Collections Mgr for approval. Suggest financial security as appropriate.
•File customer financial information & maintain folders
•File credit rating reports/ updates & maintain Dun & Bradstreet online account
•Maintain securities file
•Ensure key customer data such as payment terms & Credit Limits are approved per
•Authorization Matrix & instruct Credit Controllers to maintain same in Oracle Customer Master as required
•Provide required reporting, metrics & analysis in a timely manner to EMEA Credit & Collections Mgr & EMEA business
•Ensure Credit Control SOX processes & controls are thoroughly adhered to Support continuous process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Relevant Finance qualification (Business degree in Finance, Accountancy, Credit Management)
2 to 5 years relevant experience with a proven track record in Credit Risk analysis
Ability to understand & interpret financial statements
Experience in trading with Credit Insurance policy & knowledge of financial securities
Previous exposure to SOX & European environment an advantage
Proficient in business understanding
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
IT literate: MS Office package / Oracle experience an advantage
Accurate, precise & organized individual
Team player
Ability to set priorities & work to own initiative
Comfortable working under pressure & to tight deadlines
