Bilingual Helpdesk Engineer (English & French)

This job is a permanent job based on the sea side in Waterford.This is a good chance to really experience living and working in Ireland!

A fast growing Canadian company is currently looking for a Bi-lingual French English IT person to join their very international team to provide bi-lingual telephone technical support to internal customer base, on various IT applications, including Novell; Lotus Notes; MS Office; and Mainframe.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Logging, tracking and reporting on all calls received to the Helpdesk.
- Prioritizing and solving problems identified.
- Feeding back/supporting customers through problem resolution in a professional, prompt and polite manner.
- Maintaining task list to a manageable level.
- Enhancing on-line technical support database by identifying common problems, and developing and adding solutions to the database.
- Information sharing with other help-desk team-members, to assist each other and to continuously improve customer service.
- Adherence to all corporate and customer quality requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

- Experience: Ideally 6 mths-1 year, but flexible.
- Essential Skills: Fluent French. MS Office Knowledge, Customer Service Skills.
- Other Skills: Trouble-shooting skills in a Windows Environment.
- Attributes: Ability to learn quickly; polite and clear telephone manner. A team player.
